Songs Like Zazu is Stopping Olamide From Being A Legend – Man Argues

A tweep has boldly declared that new sensation Portable is preventing Olamide from achieving his legendary status in the mainstream which has become a great source of worry to him.

He mentioned contextually that Olamide is not getting the international recognition juxtaposed compatriots like Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido. He then maintained Olamide’s credibility is only limited to the street and that’s the terrain that has been taken over by Portable with his Zazu song.

His post also suggests that the Zazu Zeh song which features Olamide himself makes him an ‘inferior’ artiste as he’s not making effort to make quality songs that would grab worldwide attention.

He wrote; ‘Songs like Zazu is stopping Olamide from being a Legend.’

See his tweet below;

See reactions his post generated;

@Pentroi2; Olamide is known to be the voice of the street… He has never done anything short of that. He wallows in dirts and mud with the street. I guess, if you think he’s not a legend yet because he’s been promoting street … I’m sure, he doesn’t want to be less of himself gaan.

@Ojo_Omopariola; If songs like zazu stops him from being a legend but help him raise upcoming artists from the trenches he will still end up as a legend

@Rhebhek; This statement isn’t totally true cause . Bado is a Legend and that’s on Period.

@EwuosoOlusesi; If @Olamide isn’t a Legend then no one is in Nigeria

@Lyonkinge; worse song released last year

@chubbajnr; So as portable life don better…no be olamide you go thank?!..what’s better than empowering people so they can have a better life for themselves and their family…werey dey find legend..

@bamgboye1930; Person wey be legend already. So helping someone from the trenches become heard Dey stop person from becoming legend? Portable no be human. #anyway, Na mumu Dey agree with mumu sha
